CAP is an alternative to the ad-hoc use of contractor agencies, and hence unfamiliar personnel, when external contractors are required to fill resource gaps. It is essentially a database of CVs for top-class contractors whom we call on directly as required to assist in the delivery of client projects where internal resources are unavailable.

We prefer to work with a small group of contractors we know and trust to ensure that the level of our client service, in terms of quality, on-time delivery and support, is not compromised by the use of personnel who do not meet our stringent quality requirements. Equally, experience has taught us that most contractors value working with a company who genuinely value them and can offer interesting and varied work on a project basis. We are also happy to be flexible in terms of working arrangements where this meets with our client's approval.

There is no contract or obligation on either side when joining the CAP - Associates are free to work for other companies when not working for Cantarus just as they normally would. Associates' CVs are kept on file and you will be contacted when a resource requirement occurs that matches your skills and offered the position on a standard contract basis if you are available and interested.

Pay rates are negotiable depending on your skills and experience. We are particularly interested in .NET and web development skills, but work in other technologies so welcome all applications.

Work can be local or national according to your preference, though flexibility is a bonus.

We are happy to provide references for Associates who have worked with us on client projects when you are applying for other contracts external to Cantarus and to generally help as we can.
