Cantarus' storage solutions range from standalone Network Attached Storage (NAS) boxes to state-of-the-art multi-Terabyte Storage Area Networks (SANs) from multiple vendors including Dell, Netgear, HP and Thecus, many of which are Cantarus Partners.  In addition, we can also provide storage virtualisation solutions based on technology from the industry's leading vendors.

As with many of the products and services we sell, we use storage extensively in-house, most notably a high performance SAN as part of our virtualised infrastructure and NAS servers for our RemoteReplicator online backup service.

Our in-house SAN serves multiple virtual machines allowing us to fully leverage all the high availability and management capabilities of VMware Infrastructure 3 whilst simultaneously minimising hardware, power, storage and cooling costs.

The RemoteReplicator service receives data from multiple clients concurrently and must combine high storage capacity (with many customers exceeding 100GB of data backed-up with us) with high performance, despite managing many millions of files with substantial daily changes.
