We are looking for developers that are happiest when working at the bleeding edge of the technology industry to take part in development of a reconfigurable mobile app as a service (maaas) platform, MemConnect.

Our ideal candidate will be equally talented at back-end and front-end app development, self-motivated, passionate and keen to grow and thereby deliver a significant contribution to the team in our fast-paced working environment.

We’re looking for developers that have a history in full-stack development and/or mobile app development with the necessary qualifications to deliver high quality solutions to market. 

 

Role Level 4
1: Student placement, 2: Developer, 3: Analyst Developer, 4: Senior Product Developer, [5+: Future Lead Product Developer & Technical Architect roles] 

 

Responsibilities

  • Full-stack, cross-platform, mobile app development utilising our cutting-edge technology stack centred on Microsoft .NET (.NET core), React Native and GraphQL,
  • Understanding of full-stack development on Microsoft .NET technology platforms is beneficial (Microsoft .NET core / Web API / SQL server) as the back-office and API elements of the mobile app platform are based on this technology,
  • Maintaining code quality with regular 360 code reviews, E2E testing, and continuous integration & delivery,
  • Becoming a subject matter expert for reference by our internal team and customers,
  • Excellent understanding of cross-platform mobile app development, ideally with React Native.

 

Preferred Experience

  • A full-stack developer, mobile app developer, or equivalent with at least 1 years' experience in development,
  • Experience with the tools and technologies currently in-place within the business,
  • A passion for all things technical,
  • Demonstrable experience working with clients and/or stakeholders to understand and solve technical problems,
  • Experienced using all standard development tools. 

 

What to Expect

  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Working hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday. Core hours are between 9:30am - 4:30pm
  • Salary: Competitive & negotiable based on experience
  • Location: Manchester (city centre), with flexible hybrid/remote working options available
  • Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus public holidays
  • Pension: Entry to company pension scheme after three months’ employment; employer contribution of 5% of basic salary (on top of basic salary)

  • Performance & pay reviews: Annual pay and performance reviews in June each year.
