Cantarus is pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for two awards in the Northern Digital Awards 2020.
The Northern Digital Awards recognise the very best in digital marketing and talent across the region, and rewards websites, apps and software to reflect the online world that public, private and third sector organisations communicate in. Cantarus is thrilled to have been shortlisted for both the Best App and Large Digital Agency of the Year categories.
For the Best App award, Cantarus has been shortlisted for their MemConnect mobile app for the College of Optometrists. MemConnect is the mobile app platform built by Cantarusr, and this particular project involved delivering tangible value for the College of Optometrists in the form of an innovative app.
The app includes a variety of features such as clinical guidelines that are available offline, single sign-on access and the ability to bookmark content across all data-sources into an easy access favourites list. All content within the app is powered by and integrated with the College’s existing systems, including their website and CRM. Since its launch, the app has an average of 2,500 active monthly users (for a 16,000 member-base) and a 4.9-star rating across both App Stores.
Cantarus has also been nominated for the Large Digital Agency award. The agency is a 48-strong team as of December 2019, spanning across Technical Delivery, Design, Infrastructure Services, Marketing, Strategic Development, Customer Success, Business Development and Administration. As an independent Manchester-based agency, Cantarus are immensely proud of the inclusive office culture they have built, and the world-class technology they are able to produce for clients across the globe.
Lee Adams, CEO at Cantarus, comments:
“The Cantarus team is absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in two categories – ‘Best App’ and ‘Large Digital Agency of the Year’– for these prestigious awards. Once again, we’ve shown we’re mixing it with the very best in the North West! Speaking personally, I’m particularly pleased to see increasing recognition of our MemConnect mobile app platform for membership organisations, something that I believe will ultimately change the audience engagement capabilities of an entire sector of the economy.”
The Northern Digital Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 30th January 2020 at the New Dock Hall, Royal Armouries in Leeds.
