Role Level 2
1: Placement, 2: Developer, 3: Analyst Developer, 4: Senior Developer, 5: Technical Architect, 6: Future senior management roles


  • Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) using the latest front-end web technologies including react and typescript,
  • Working with leading content management systems e.g. Umbraco & Kentico,
  • Working in (on a project-by-project basis) small, agile teams, of 2 to 6 people,
  • Maintaining code quality across the business with regular 360 code reviews, E2E testing, and continuous integration & delivery,
  • Becoming a subject matter expert for reference by our internal team and customers.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous front-end web development experience (1 year+), including relevant languages and markup such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript,
  • Experience with responsive web frameworks e.g. Bootstrap,
  • A passion for all things technical,
  • Ability to adapt to a high-pressure, reactive working environment,
  • Self-motivated & delivery-focused,
  • Knowledge of mainstream source control solutions e.g. Git,
  • Experienced using standard development tools and browser debugging.

What to Expect

  • Type: Full-time, permanent
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday. Core hours are between 9:30am - 4:30pm
  • Salary: Competitive & negotiable based on experience
  • Location: Manchester (city centre) & flexible working options available
  • Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus public holidays
  • Pension: Entry to company pension scheme after three months employment; employer contribution of 5% of basic salary (on top of basic salary)
