Lee is a founder of Cantarus and, after leaving Accenture as one of their top-performing Consultants, has led the business from a three-man start-up to one of the largest digital agencies in the North of England. Under his leadership, Cantarus has grown to employ circa sixty people, win innumerable UK and global awards and serve a world-class client list of approaching one hundred organisations in the UK and internationally. A strong technologist, Lee has over twenty years’ experience delivering success in ‘digital’ to organisations large and small. His skillset encompasses the ‘big picture’ of digital strategy as well as a deep understanding of day-to-day operational delivery. He is passionate about equipping organisations with the structure, people, processes, technology and data to create a consistent model for success. His client-and outcome-centric approach has created an agency in Cantarus with an outstanding reputation, best represented by its industry-leading Net Promoter Score consistently exceeding +82.

Lee has worked at senior and executive levels in virtually every sector of the economy and has particularly deep expertise in membership, infrastructure services, web, mobile apps and eCommerce. He has helped dozens of leading organisations achieve success including WHSmith, Institute of Directors, Worldpay, Royal College of GPs, Barclays, Stroke Association, Sports Direct, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, University of Chicago, United Utilities, The Children’s Society, INTO University Partnerships, Chartered Institute of Building, Cambridge Assessment and a plethora of public sector organisations.

Melany joined Cantarus as General Counsel in February 2020. She is primarily responsible for negotiating contracts with clients, liaising with the Company’s external solicitors and advising the board on commercial issues. Prior to joining Cantarus, she was Technical & Compliance Director at the UK’s largest insolvency practice. She started her legal career over 20 years ago at a well-respected high street firm in Suffolk where she made partner before deciding to relocate to Manchester.

As our COO, Mike has crucial responsibility for operational delivery across the business and works with our various managers, consultants, and delivery teams to champion client success.

Mike joined Cantarus in 2009 as our first non-founder employee and has since risen through the business to his current position. During his time with the business, Mike has successfully led dozens of client projects for large, multinational, organisations in retail, not for profit, membership, and commercial organisations including for the likes of the Institute of Directors (IoD), The Royal Pharmaceutical Society, WHSmith and Frasers Group. Under Mike’s operational leadership, Cantarus has grown into one of the largest agencies in the North of England, that has consistently delivered high levels of customer satisfaction and world-class digital solutions to our circa 90 clients and partners.

Mike has a highly technical background, having graduated top of his year in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester, and, as such, places a great deal of emphasis on the quality of the technical solutions we deliver to the market.

Rebecca joined Cantarus in 2015 as a Developer and has since worked as an Analyst Developer and Consultant. In 2019 she was promoted to the role of Technical Delivery Manager. Shortly after that receiving that promotion, Rebecca was essential to Cantarus delivering a number of MemConnect App projects and refinements for such clients as RCGP, CIOB, and TOPRA. Rebecca’s vital role in accelerating the expansion and refinement of the MemConnect product offering was formally recognised in her promotion to the role of the Head of Product Delivery in 2021. Rebecca has also worked on and led major projects such as WHSmith, Sports Direct, The Children's Society, and University of Chicago to name a few.

Leading our multidisciplinary team of UX and Design specialists, Rob collaborates closely with the Board to ensure our creative services are delivered to the highest possible standards. Working across web, product and brand, he sets the design direction and creative strategy for our projects and ensures that we deliver best-in-class solutions that are simple, beautiful and effective.

Rob brings a wealth of experience to Cantarus, having worked in the creative industries since 2010 for a number of leading agencies as well as client-side. He has travelled around the UK, Europe and Asia, collaborating with partners and specialists to deliver exceptional digital brand communications.

As a Principal Consultant, Nick helps new and existing clients understand how technology can enable their business to meet its strategic aims. With over 20 years cross sector experience across digital transformation and strategy, eCommerce website management, digital marketing, information security and insight, Nick adds a wealth of insight to the Strategic Consulting team. Prior to moving into the consultancy sector, Nick has worked across several not-for-profits and commercial organisations, including the British Heart Foundation, Turning Point, and Home Learning College. He was formerly the ‘Head of Digital’ at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.

Brendan joined the Cantarus team as a Consultant in 2017, before being promoted to Technical Delivery Manager, and to Head of Technical Delivery in 2021. Some of the projects Brendan has led include INTO, Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Association of Anaesthetists, and Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME).

In 2023 his continued dedication to the business was recognised with his promotion to Chief Delivery Officer.

Yvonne joined the Cantarus team in 2020, with over 15 years’ experience as a Finance Manager providing strategic direction and organisational management with direct accountability for the financial management accounting functions. Yvonne has previously worked in a number of sectors including advertising, insolvency and recruitment.

Matt joined Cantarus in 2017 and has helped our infrastructure services offering grow by introducing newer technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes as well as Azure cloud hosting, alongside our traditional VMware infrastructure. Matt has previously worked deploying large-scale public sector infrastructure projects and has over 8 years of experience delivering enterprise-level VMware solutions.

Mark joined Cantarus in 2019, establishing a London presence and offering UK and international clients guidance on digital strategy and online community.

Prior to joining Cantarus, Mark helped build what rapidly became a leading online community platform for membership organisations as product manager and UK/ EU Director. Earlier professional roles include managing technology for membership bodies and technology policy aide to US Senator Bill Roth of Delaware.

As CPO, Mark is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Cantarus products, managing the product lifecycle and leading product management. He also leads the community management team and supports client membership organisations directly through consultancy. 

Dani brings expertise in digital marketing, ABM and nurture from various industries including recruitment, tech, health and fitness. She has previously developed and implemented highly successful brand identities and marketing strategies for a range of businesses from start-ups through to FTSE 100 companies and public sector organisations. Her past client list includes the Royal Air Force, LG, GlaxoSmithKline and Travis Perkins Group.
