Cantarus has been recognised for another year as an official Umbraco Contributing Platinum Partner, reflecting our continued investment in the platform, the community, and the organisations that rely on it.

The Umbraco Contributing Platinum Partner recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to strengthening the Umbraco ecosystem and supporting organisations delivering complex digital platforms.

Awarded annually, the Contributing Partner badge recognises organisations that go beyond delivery to actively support Umbraco’s evolution and strengthen its global ecosystem.

This recognition builds on our role as Umbraco’s first transatlantic Platinum Partner, supporting organisations across the UK and North America and contributing to the continued growth and adoption of the platform. This recognition also reflects our long-term commitment to the platform and its community.

Lee Adams, CEO, Cantarus, said:

“Being recognised for another year as an Umbraco Contributing Partner reflects the strength and maturity of our partnership. Our team contributes across advisory boards, community initiatives and partner programmes, helping shape the future of the platform while delivering meaningful outcomes for our clients. We’re proud to invest in Umbraco and in the ecosystem that surrounds it."

Helping shape the future of Umbraco

Umbraco is an open-source .NET content management system used by organisations worldwide to manage complex websites, digital platforms and membership ecosystems.

A key part of our contribution is direct involvement in Umbraco’s advisory groups.

Members of the Cantarus team sit on the Umbraco Orchestration Advisory Board, the Umbraco Cloud Advisory Board, and the Umbraco Sustainability Team, working alongside Umbraco and other global partners to help guide platform evolution across cloud, deployment and sustainability.

This involvement ensures we remain closely aligned with Umbraco’s roadmap and continue to bring informed, future-focused guidance to the organisations we support.

Jon Whitter, Head of Development, Umbraco MVP and Umbraco Cloud Advisory Board member, said:

“Umbraco’s strength has always come from its community, and it’s something we take seriously as a partner. Through the Cloud Advisory Board, contributing to initiatives such as the Mythbuster series, and supporting the Manchester Umbraco Meetup, we’re able to share practical experience and help strengthen the ecosystem. This recognition reflects the collective effort across the Cantarus team and our commitment to the platform.”

Strengthening the ecosystem and supporting the community

Our contribution extends beyond advisory boards into supporting Umbraco’s wider ecosystem and helping organisations adopt the platform with confidence.

This includes playing a leadership role in initiatives such as Umbraco in the City, helping bring together partners, clients and the wider community to share knowledge and strengthen engagement.

Jon Whitter is also part of the Manchester Umbraco Meetup leadership team, helping curate and maintain a regular programme of community events across Manchester, including sessions hosted at Cantarus. These meetups provide an important forum for collaboration and shared learning within the Umbraco community.

Alongside this, we’ve worked closely with Umbraco on sector-focused initiatives designed to help organisations, particularly within the membership and association space, better understand how Umbraco supports secure, scalable and sustainable digital platforms.

Much of this work focuses on membership organisations, professional bodies and associations, supporting long-term platform development and digital transformation using Umbraco.

This includes contributing to Umbraco’s membership sector presence and ensuring client success stories are shared through the Umbraco website, helping showcase real-world implementations across the sector.

We also continue to collaborate closely with Umbraco’s teams, supporting ongoing platform development and wider ecosystem initiatives.

Kirstie Buchanan, Marketing Director, Cantarus, said:

“Our role as an Umbraco Contributing Partner reflects a genuinely collaborative relationship. Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with Umbraco on partner programmes, thought leadership and ecosystem initiatives designed to help organisations make confident platform decisions. It’s a partnership built on shared investment in both the platform and the community around it.”

Supporting Umbraco’s global growth

As Umbraco’s first transatlantic Platinum Partner, Cantarus continues to support the platform’s growth internationally.

This includes collaborative activity across both the UK and North America, helping organisations understand how Umbraco supports complex digital ecosystems and long-term transformation.

Through joint programmes and sector-focused engagement, we continue to support Umbraco’s growing presence in the US, particularly within membership and mission-led organisations.

This includes supporting organisations as they explore Umbraco and helping strengthen adoption within the North American association sector.

Recognition from Umbraco

Frederik Klerens, Regional Director, Umbraco UK, said:

“We’re pleased to once again recognise Cantarus as an Umbraco Contributing Platinum Partner. Their ongoing commitment to the community and the wider commercial ecosystem continues to set a strong example, particularly within the membership vertical, where they consistently push innovation and best practice.

Through their contributions, Cantarus plays an important role in strengthening the Umbraco ecosystem. For that reason, both Umbraco and the community are proud to acknowledge Cantarus as a Contributing Platinum Partner once again.”

Looking ahead

We’re proud to continue our recognition as an Umbraco Contributing Platinum Partner, and the year is already underway with further joint initiatives.

This includes the launch of a new AI webinar series, delivered in collaboration with Umbraco, supporting membership and association organisations in understanding how to adopt AI responsibly and effectively within their digital platforms.

We also continue to work closely with Umbraco to ensure client success stories are shared through the Umbraco ecosystem, helping organisations understand how Umbraco performs in real-world, complex environments.

Together, we remain focused on strengthening the platform, supporting the community, and helping organisations create extraordinary digital experiences with Umbraco.
