The Association of Anaesthetists has released its new app and online community in partnership with digital agency, Cantarus.

Cantarus has previously delivered successful apps for membership organisations, including the Royal College of General Practitioners and the College of Optometrists. The Association has been working with Cantarus for a number of years, with the agency previously delivering their award-winning website.

The new app, powered by Cantarus’ member engagement platform, MemConnect, is designed to enhance the experience of the Association’s members and provide them with access to valuable resources, including a wide range of patient safety and care guidelines, both online and offline. Having offline availability was absolutely vital due to the nature of anaesthetists’ day-to-day work.

Other exciting app features include the ability to search through educational events, access all the latest industry insights, and connect and engage with other members via Community, the online network and forum.

Brian Bartlett, Senior Digital Content Manager at the Association, comments:

“We are thrilled with the Association app and online community platform! Cantarus has been a fantastic digital partner over the years, and we knew they were well-placed to help us with our app and community goals. Our members have been looking for a more user-friendly platform to connect, learn, and engage with each other, and the app provides just that. We are thoroughly enjoying this new communication tool which is such a valuable resource, and we can’t wait to see the many benefits it will bring our members in the future.”

The app and online community are now available for Association members to download on both iOS and Android app stores.
